Track Your Progress, Celebrate Your PRs
Track Your Progress, Celebrate Your PRs
Training without tracking is just exercise. You might feel like you’re improving, but without data, you’re guessing.
Today we’re launching Progress Tracking and Personal Records—a complete system to log your metrics, visualize your gains, and know exactly when you’ve hit a new PR.
What’s New
Metric Logging
Every jump, every rep, every session—now captured.
After completing an exercise, log your key metrics:
- Jump height or distance
- Ground contact time
- Rep count and quality
- Any custom metric your coach sets up
One tap to log. No spreadsheets. No memory required.
Automatic PR Detection
Here’s where it gets good.
PlyoPlanner watches your metrics and automatically flags when you’ve set a new personal record. Beat your best box jump? PR. Lowest ground contact time ever? PR. New max reps on depth jumps? PR.
You don’t have to remember what you did last month or dig through old logs. The app knows.
Progress Charts
Numbers are nice. Seeing the line go up is better.
Every metric gets its own chart showing your progression over time. Watch your vertical climb week over week. See your ground contact time drop as your reactive strength improves. Spot plateaus before they become problems.
Charts update automatically as you log. No manual graphing required.
Confetti Celebrations
This one’s important.
When you hit a PR, you get confetti. Real, animated, screen-filling confetti.
Why? Because PRs matter. They’re proof that the work is working. They deserve more than a silent database update. They deserve a moment.
(And honestly, it’s just fun.)
Why This Matters
Progress is the best motivator. Better than discipline. Better than willpower. When athletes see themselves improving, they show up.
But progress is invisible without measurement. You don’t notice the 2cm you gained on your vertical over 6 weeks. You don’t feel the 0.02 second improvement in ground contact time. The body adapts gradually—too gradually to register.
That’s why tracking matters. It makes the invisible visible. It turns “I think I’m getting better” into “I know I’m getting better.”
And that knowledge fuels everything else.
For Coaches
Progress Tracking isn’t just for athletes.
As a coach, you can:
- View any athlete’s metrics from their profile
- Track team-wide trends in the dashboard
- Identify outliers who are progressing fast (or stalling)
- Use data in conversations with athletes and parents
No more relying on athletes to self-report. No more manual spreadsheet entry. The data’s there when you need it.
For Athletes
Your training history lives in one place now.
- See your PRs at a glance
- Watch your progress unfold over weeks and months
- Share wins with your coach (or just screenshot that confetti)
- Stay motivated by actual results, not just feelings
Whether you’re training solo or with a team, your progress is yours.
